The African Students Association (ASA) of the Johns Hopkins University comprises a group of students of African and non-African descent dedicated to the education of the Hopkins community at large of the different cultures that comprise the African continent. ASA also provides a network of support for African students at Johns Hopkins. The African Students Association is a service as well as a social organization which aims to rid misconceptions concerning Africa through education.


Events to Look out For

General Body Meetings: Join us on Fridays at 8:00 p.m. in Mattin 160 as we discuss issues, themes, and topics that pertain to Africa and the Diaspora.
ASA Fashion Show: Mark your Calendars for Sunday, December 8, 2019! Join us for a night full of both traditional and modern Fashion from across the Diaspora!
ASA Basket Auction: Come and enjoy a night filled with good food and entertainment as we auction off baskets representing countries across the globe. All proceeds will go to charity organizations that seek to positively impact the African continent!
